Pays Voironnais

Hi there,

Last friday we've visited the region known as the "Pays Voironnais". It is situated at about 30 km to the northwest from Grenoble.

It's a beautiful area surrounding the Paladru lake. The region spans along a pre-alpine range of hills, and it is covered by beautiful forests. The landscape is amazing.

The 'capital' of the region is the town of Voiron.

We drove 160 Km along secondary roads, and we discovered many little villages in the middle of great green fields and forests. More pictures available here.
